Sunday Brunch at The Grill at Rough Hollow

(map) Brunch is all good here at The Grille. You can either order off the lunch menu (burgers, salads, sandwiches) or the special brunch menu, which ranges from $8-11. The light-tasting Shrimp Frittata had chopped shrimp and tomatoes inside, fresh local goat cheese sprinkled on top. There’s also French toast, migas and a Philly Cheese Steak Omelet. And of course, Bloody Marys and Mimosas!

A great twist on a brunch classic. Eggs Benedict Italiano switched out the typical Canadian bacon for Italian prosciutto. Its smoky, salty flavor was almost like Smithfield ham. The muffin underneath was grilled, and that’s a roasted-tomato hollandaise on top of the tender poached eggs.

The sunny patio overlooks the pool, as well as Lake Travis. You can get here by car or by boat. Just tie up down at the dock and take the elevator up.

OMG, the eggs benedict are to die for; love the grilled proscuitto. And Miss S’s french toast looked pretty spectacular, too!
