(map) As the newest addition to the booming food-truck scene out West, this place is smoking. Well, technically grilling, but with a real wood-fired grill that gives burgers, chicken, lamb and seafood that punch of flavor you get from nothing else. Above, the ATX burger: a near-half-pound of hand-formed beefy goodness, cooked to order and topped with bacon, grilled onions and jalapenos, avocado and monterey jack. The buns come fresh from the famous Brothers Bakery in Marble Falls, just one of the little touches that sets this place apart.
The menu also lists sandwiches, kabobs and pitas. Three food trailers share this space, with plenty of picnic tables for diners. There are plans for live music, movie nights, open-mic night, even an ice-cream social on Sundays. We’re glad to see these mobile chefs sharing the love with West Austin; why should downtown have all the fun?
