Silly Rabbit Cascarones

That’s the actual brand name for these, which shows how seriously a company that makes confetti eggs takes itself. Cascarones are hollow eggshells filled with colorful confetti. Popular at Easter, having one smashed on your head is supposed to bring good luck (as in, “good luck getting all that confetti out of your hair!”).

Kenzie gets even with Cash.

And vice-versa.

That's a lot of fun for $1.78.

$1.78 a dozen at HEB.

Looks like Kenzie is enjoying it. Wonder how Cash took to a mess being made on his head?! LOL

Great pictures.

These have become a tradition with my grandchildren, but since Albertsons in Tallahassee, FL shut down, I have not been able to find them! Help!!

Ed. Note: You can find them on eBay here ( or on Amazon here (, and there are several how-to websites for making them yourself. Good luck!
