(map) It’s just a tiny, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it barbecue stand. It’s only open four days a week. But drive by Rocky Creek on one of those four days, and there’ll be a car waiting in the drive-through every time. They’ve been open eight years, and in that time have gotten a rep for smoking brisket like nobody’s bidness. Note the classic pink coloration around the edges – perfection! The ribs were soooo tender and juicy, the jalapeno sausage spicy and flavorful, the sauce tart with vinegar.
You can order to go, or take your ‘cue over to one of the picnic tables under the trees.
Choose from their surprisingly extensive menu, then order at the window. Service is usually pretty speedy.
There are several signs of humor around the place.
