(map) Can there really be such a thing as a 100% gluten-free gourmet restaurant? Tasting is believing! This contemporary yet cozy cafe just opened where the former Apatite was, and is already attracting crowds eager for its unique menu. Above, the Chicken Goujons, a fancy French name for fried chicken strips. Delicious in any language, with juicy chicken fried crispy and drizzled with house-made basil mayo. You choose your sides – these are sauteed squash, tomatoes and shallots.
The Bistro Salad is loaded with organic greens and veggies, then topped with slivers of crispy fried onions. Classic French onion soup is graced with a delicious melted-cheese toast – all gluten-free!
The dining room is small – about ten tables – but will expand to the outside in warmer weather. The kitchen’s focus is on southern France and northern Italy, with a gluten-free twist. French and Italian wines are available. The menu changes all the time, with daily specials at lunch and dinner. Dinner offers about twice as many entrees.

This place is amazing. My husband & I have eaten there several times now and never fail to be impressed with the high quality of the ingredients, complex wonderful flavors, and top-notch service. And we’re not even gluten-intolerant. This place has “got it goin’ on!”
