Noble Pig Deli & Charcuterie

(map) A year ago, the Noble Pig opened their breakfast and lunch place (see a review here). Fans flocked in for the amazing sandwiches made with their house-cured meats like bacon, duck pastrami and Italian sausages. The more rabid of us clamored for the chance to buy those artisanal ingredients ourselves, and voila! A new deli is born, selling pates, a variety of sausages, sliced meats and fresh-baked breads seven days a week.

All pickles and mustards are made here, like the spicy house pickles, above. Fresh breads include ciabatta, brioche and wheat. They plan to have grab-and-go sandwiches available in the afternoons.

The rich duck breast pate is simple-yet-delicious. They also offer a smoky linguiƧa terrine, made with the Portuguese pork sausage. Rillettes, below, are small jars filled with a spiced pork confit. Also for home,, you can get sandwich meats by the pound, all prepared by the chefs: smoked pork belly, corned beef tongue, ham and turkey.

Chef Brandon takes a momentary break before the big grand opening.
