(map) With the weather heating up, so is the buzz about Soleil, as they add live music, new spring menu items, a raw bar, and an awesome happy hour. Couples and families are finding it’s a great spot to gather and watch the sunset. To serenade that sunset, there’s live music out on the breezeway every Friday and Saturday night.
Soleil has a new spring menu with new appetizers and sandwiches, as well as specials like this line-caught marlin. Perfectly pan-seared and served with an intense apricot glaze with shaved chiles, tangerine supremes and arugula, it was amazingly delicious.
Across the breezeway from Soleil, the Azure Lounge is now open Thursday through Sunday. It’s a raw bar featuring oysters, shrimp, crab and more. Happy hour from 4-7 includes beer and wine specials and $7 appetizers.
One of the most popular dishes on the menu: Grilled diver scallops with creamy polenta and wild mushrooms in a prosciutto broth. It’s garnished with a crispy prosciutto chip, and it all comes together like a super-contemporary surf-and-turf.
Everyone wants a ringside seat for the sunset. It’s fun to watch the contemporary firepits, too (no marshmallows, though – too messy!).
