New Year’s Eve Celebrations

Buffets and fireworks. Live music and special menus. Glasses of bubbly for toasting. We’ve got all the elements out West for a great New Year’s Eve. Below, a list of all the goings-on, with links to more info. Let us know if there’s something we missed. Cheers!

Artisan Bistro. New Year’s Eve Murder Mystery Dinner starts at 8. Includes lavish dinner, drinks, live music and mystery. Reservations a must. $120.

The League Kitchen & Tavern. Several entree and appetizer specials and a free champagne toast.

Fore Lakeway. Party favors, bottle service, free champagne toast at midnight.

Steiner Steakhouse. Live music, chef’s specials, fireworks display and complimentary champagne toast at midnight.

Hudson’s on the Bend. Two tasting menus to choose from: a chef tasting menu with paired wines, $135, or five “extravagant” courses with choices, $100.

The Oasis on Lake Travis. Three-course menu with choices, live music by Mr. Thrill and The Kopy Kats.

Barton Creek Resort. Two parties to choose from and a fun celebration for kids. A dinner and dancing gala, featuring live music, balloon drop and champagne toast at midnight, $135. Or, a five-station buffet with performance by a live magician, $42. For kids: ice skating, laser tag, video games, buffet and sparkling cider toast at midnight, $75.

Lakeway Resort and Spa. Dine lakeside in the elegant Travis Restaurant from 6 to 11. Three courses with choices, $65. Josey’s Grill and Bar offers live music starting at 10 with party favors and champagne at midnight.

Mizu Steak & Sushi. Complimentary glass of champagne to start. Special four-course menu, $75, with optional wine pairings, $110. Live music by Jukebox Heroes.

Poodie’s Hilltop Roadhouse. Performance by blues artist W.C. Clark, $20. Tessy Lou and the Shotgun Stars open. Midnight buffet and champagne toast.

VIVO Lake Creek. Dinner service till 10, then a Bond-themed party from 10-2 with a DJ, balloon drop and dance floor. Champagne toast at midnight. VIP lounge available.

Riviera Bistro. Seven-course chef’s tasting menu with wine pairings, $113, without, $77. Five-course chef’s tasting dinner, $55. Free champagne toast at midnight.

Luckenbach Texas. Party with Dale Watson, champagne, breakfast tacos, black-eyed peas, party favors. Reserved seating, $60.

Cho Sushi. Both locations, Lakeway and Steiner Ranch. Live DJ from 10 to 1 am in Lakeway, complimentary champagne. Four-course dinner from 5 to 10, with champagne, sake or wine, $65.

Chisos Grill. Chef’s featured menu along with regular menu. Live music by Sons of Harry, no cover.

Angel’s Icehouse. Live music with Divas & Cavaliers, party favors, midnight champagne toast, midnight migas con queso buffet, $30.

Travaasa Austin. Three courses with choices, including wagyu ribeye and lobster risotto, plus live music, champagne toast, and gourmet s’mores station by the fire pits, $65.

Lake Travis Wine Trader. Annual “New York State of Mind” celebration, with lots of food, complimentary champagne, and party favors, $55.

Gumbo’s Bee Cave. Regular menu plus specials including steak and lobster, complimentary glass of champagne.

Mandola’s Italian Market. Five-course takeout dinner for two, including champagne flutes and Prosecco, $65.

Pecan Street Brewing. Four-course menu with choices, live music with Homer and the Plainsmen, $35.

Sobani Restaurant & Wine Bar. Special menu, live music, dancing, champagne toasts.

The Dig Pub. Toga Party, no cover, dance music, party favors, champagne at midnight.

The Barber Shop. Live music, 7 to 1 am, drink specials, door prizes, midnight toast, $5 cover.
