Hill Country Lavender Farm

(map) This has to be one of the most heavenly smelling places in Texas! Open on weekends until July 13th, this is a cut-your-own place  where you can also shop for freshly harvested seeds, all kinds of soaps, oils and plants, or just sit back with a coollavender lemonade under the oaks.

The rustic shop is filled with all things lavender: seeds, soaps, essential oils, sachets, pillows, linen sprays, teas, artworks and more.

Three varieties of plants are available, along with advice on how and where to grow. You can get a chair massage in the shade, or just relax and enjoy a glass of iced lavender lemonade. A blooming great idea!

Even the port-a-potties are lavender.

My daughter is marrying on April 27 in the Austin area and considering having dried lavender in her mason jar table top centerpieces (about 30). Do you sell dried lavender wholesale in this amount or do you know where she can find this or possible wildflowers to use?
Thank you for your help!

Ed. Reply: the farm won’t re-open until May, but you can find Hill Country Lavender products at 408 4th Street in Blanco, or contact them at (830) 833-2294. Sounds like a wonderful idea!
