Happy Mardi Gras!

(map) Just look at dem mudbugs! To celebrate Fat Tuesday, the ragin’ Cajuns at Stuffed Cajun Meat Market are boiling crawfish and serving them up for $5 a pound. They’re also giving away beads and possibly, pieces of king cake (see more here). But don’t wait to get your good times on – they’re only serving till 4 or so. For more Mardi Gras fun: The League will have hurricanes, gumbo and blackened drum, Parrain’s will have drink specials, king cake, a crawfish boil and live music from 5 to 9. Lake Travis Wine Trader will offer a Mardi Gras Dinner with boudin, crawfish etouffee, shrimp remoulade and beads.
