Green-Chile Burger Battle: Bam’s Roadhouse

(map) It’s not just bloggers! The Wall Street Journal, no less, called this burger one of the five best in America, terming it “beautifully trashy.” (Read the whole article here.) So where are the green chiles, you ask? Inside – all of Bam’s burgers are made stuffed. Hatch green chiles, chopped bacon, and cheddar cheese are stuffed inside a half-pound of beef, which is then grilled over hickory. The great smoky flavor is a good match for the heat of the chiles. By the way, that’s a whole-wheat bun for you health-conscious folks out there.
