Cross your fingers – it looks like we will have fireworks out West this year! Because the 4th is a Wednesday, there are 22 fun events happening over two weeks, from burgers and s’mores to live music, parades and wine-tasting. Below, a round-up with links to more info. 

June 29th – July 8th

Ten Days of Celebration at Lakeway Resort and Spa. Ten days of kid-oriented sports, games, happy hours, s’mores by the firepit, special room rates.

June 30th

Burgers ‘n Blues at Fall Creek Vineyards. Wine-tasting, grilled ‘Bubba Burgers,’ live music, $19, 12-2

Independence Day Festival at the Hill Country Galleria. Live music including Vallejo, Guy Forsyth and Will Sexton, plus a carnival, petting zoo, arts and crafts vendors, and fireworks,  11-9

Red, White, and Blue dinner at Travaasa Spa and Resort. Three courses with choices

July 4th

Bob Schneider’s 7th Annual 4th of July Festival, Nutty Brown Cafe. With Band of Heathens and Hudson Moore, $20, 7:30

Fourth of July Celebration, Lago Vista. Parade, live music, food booths, silent auction, contests and fireworks, 11-9

Fourth of July, Cedar Park. Live music, food booths, carnival games, bingo and fireworks,  4-10:30

Vinopalooza at Flat Creek Estate Winery, with tastes by five Texas wineries, food, live music, $5, 4-8

Chili Cook-off at Becker Vineyards in Stonewall to benefit Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity, $5, 11-2

4th of July Celebration in Lakeway. Parade and BYOB block party featuring live music, food trailers and laser-tag, 8:30 am-9 pm

4th of July Jubilee, Wimberley. Live music, food booths, family activities, 11:30 am – 3 pm

Wilkins Family 4th of July, Luckenbach. Live music by four bands, beer for sale, no cover, 1-6

18th Annual Parade & Celebration, Lost Creek. Two parades, live music, family activities, free refreshments, 8:45-noon

Liberty Fest, Leander. Live music, food booths, laser show, 6-10

Annual Children’s Parade, Steiner Ranch. Parade, free ice cream, DJ, water slide and bounce house, 9 am

4th of July Fireworks Show at Krause Springs, starting at sunset

Marble Falls Community Fireworks, Lakeside Park. Live music, food for sale, free admission, starts at 6:30

Happy Hour at Soleil all day (also July 3rd), with drink specials and half-priced appetizers

Fireworks over Lake Travis, The Shore Club at Volente Beach, $8 after 8 pm

July 7th

Independence Day celebration at Stone House Vineyard. Three-course dinner with wine pairings, $58 per person

Concert in the Cave, guitar pull in Longhorn Cavern State Park, 7 pm, $25

July 14th

Bastille Day Celebration at Artisan Bistro. Food, wine, music, games, and a pie fight to benefit charity, 5-10. $15
