(map) Yes, Fudds is a chain, but a local (based in Houston) chain. A deliciously tasty chain. Fuddruckers just opened its newest location in Bee Cave, in the former Waterloo spot (they did keep the mega-sized playscape and washer-pitching areas). Their 100% fresh, never-frozen burgers and baked-from-scratch-daily buns are catching on quickly with hungry Bee Cavers. Above and below, the Smokehouse Bacon and Cheddar burger.
Burgers range from 1/3 of a pound to one entire pound of beef and are all grilled to order. From there, you take it over to a fixings bar and dress it just the way you like it.
They specialize in beefy burgers, but don’t stop there. There are buffalo and wild elk burgers, chicken sandwiches, even shrimp, fish and salads. Sides like fries, onion rings and fried pickles round out the menu.
Rare for a burger joint, there’s a full bar, with beer, wine and spirits. So while the kids go nuts on the playscape, you may remain serene with your adult beverage.
There are several dining rooms, all equipped with large-screen TVs. Below, Fudds’ philosophy in a nutshell.
