Fried Green Tomatoes at Boat House Grill

(map) This is the perfect time of year to eat green tomatoes, ’cause there are so many of them. Boat House gets them from a farm, slices ’em thin, hand-dips ’em in cornmeal batter and fries ’em up. The crunchy fried goodness surrounds the soft, tart tomato slices and stays crunchy till the last bite. That’s ranch dressing for dipping.
