6 May 2010(UPDATE: closed) Life is a fine art of balance. On the one hand, there’s queso, pizza, french fries and ice cream. On the other, there’s Eco Cafe. I’ve posted about them before here, and they’re a go-to when you want something healthy but still delish. Eco Cafe serves salads, sandwiches and soups, but their daily specials menu is where they cut loose and get creative.
The fresh seared tuna is piled on a salad of carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, celery, sprouts, baby spinach and lettuce. That’s a lot of stuff! The spicy wasabi aioli was drizzled on top of the tuna and veggie California rolls. With a glass of iced apricot-peach tea, I was on the road to enlightenment.
