There are no less than ten slices of bacon in the Infamous BLT sandwich, above. BBBB just opened on Pace Bend Road near Spicewood, and is already wowing fans with good food and fancy cocktails like the Prickly Pear Margarita and Ruby Red Cosmo.
This is a Caesar salad topped with – guess what? Bacon! They’re also serving burgers and sandwiches, along with specials like steak, chops, seafood and pasta. The menu throws in some whimsy geared around the bistro’s mascot, like the “pig wings” and “hog snorts” (hot wings and stuffed jalapenos). In other words, they’re taking the cooking seriously, but not themselves.
Above, the Ruby Red Cosmo, made with Deep Eddy Ruby Red Grapefruit vodka, Triple Sec, fresh lime and a bit of cranberry. The full bar is a source of fun experiments like the Prickly Pear ‘rita and Raspberry Pineapple Mojito. You can eat at the bar, below, or there’s a small dining room with a jukebox.
