8 Jan 2013(map) Maudie’s not only serves breakfast every day of the week, they serve it all day. That’s perfect for those of us slackers sleepyheads who can’t always rise early. Huevos, migas, chilaquiles, breakfast tacos – even pancakes – start your day off right. Above, Scrambled Sausage Migas are spicy with sliced serrano peppers, crunchy with tortilla chips and cheesy with lots of melted queso amarillo. Good morning!
The Marfa Stack, a New Mexico-style plate of stacked cheese-and-onion enchiladas topped with red-chile sauce and two eggs over easy. Muy delicioso!
If someone in your party inexplicably doesn’t feel like Tex-Mex, there are “Diner” breakfast choices, like this one with eggs over easy, bacon, and cinnamon-and-vanilla-scented French toast.
Maudie’s patio is a great place to sit in nice weather. Little kids are fascinated by that cool fountain.

I need to remember to have breakfast next time I’m there for lunch!
