20 Feb 2012(map) Calling your burger “All Star” is a pretty bold claim, but this new place in the Galleria is living up to the name. Made with premium Angus beef, the burgers are big, juicy and already drawing fans. They’re topped several ways, and available in veggie, venison and ahi tuna options, as well. Above, the namesake All Star, with cheddar cheese and the works, with a side of sweet and crunchy sweet-potato fries. Beer, wine and big farm salads round out the menu.
You order at the counter, and then they bring you your food. The dining area is large and welcoming, with booths, tables and counter seating. “All Star” refers to the regular Americans, like farmers and workers, who are pictured on the walls.
All Star tries to use as many fresh, local ingredients as possible, and proudly lists their sources in the restaurant.

Looks great! Do they have gluten free options?
Ed. Reply: Yes to gluten-free options; working on gluten-free buns.

Hmm, I might need to stop by to see if they want to offer some locally made ketchup to go with the fries, burgers, etc. This place looks good…and I bet their food is good.
Ed. Reply: I bet they would love your ketchup, Bill! Good idea!
